Galapagos Explorer Set to Debut Following Extensive Refurbishment

The Galapagos Explorer, a 38-meter yacht, will conduct two seven-night voyages exploring the eastern and western regions of the renowned islands. With only six suites and staterooms, the yacht accommodates up to 12 guests, accompanied by two expert guides on each journey.

Featuring a maximum capacity of 12 guests, the Galapagos Explorer boasts the highest guest-to-staff ratio among yachts in the islands. It offers elegantly designed indoor and outdoor spaces, comprising four staterooms and two luxurious suites. Following a comprehensive refurbishment, the Galapagos Explorer will commence its inaugural voyage on June 17.

Operating two distinct seven-night routes, the Galapagos Explorer provides travelers with the option to explore either the eastern or western sectors of the main island cluster, each highlighting key destinations.

The eastern route includes attractions like Kicker Rock near San Cristobal Island and the chance to observe the critically endangered waved albatross at Gardner Bay on Espanola Island.

The western route features the geographical center of the Galapagos, Sombrero Chino Island, and opportunities to encounter the rare Santa Fe land iguana on Santa Fe Island.

Both itineraries offer abundant opportunities for terrestrial and marine adventures such as snorkeling, hiking, and birdwatching, showcasing the islands' unique and diverse species.

Rates for both routes start at $10,950 per person for a seven-night cruise.
